The female lives are classified into five categories,
1. Female lives with earned income
2. Female lives with unearned income
3. Self employed women
4. Housewives with no income of their own.
5. Spinsters, Widows with no children, single woman etc.
The first three categories are given insurance depending upon their health and income levels. The forth category in considered only if there is no moral hazard and the husband’s insurance is adequate.
