Will you be taxed on retirement and disability checks?My father retired recently and so I need your suggestion whether the money will be taxes?Please help.

If your employer bought the disability policy or if you have purchased with PRE –TAXED money then I believe that they are taxed at normal tax rates.

Hi,
well,If it is purchased after tax money then it is not taxable. And if you take abut the pension payments and retirement checks it is taxed like ordinary income amount.
