I want to give you valuable points about Stocks
Stocks which are also called as equities signify part of the possession of a company. If the company does well, its rate increases, and you divide up in the appreciation. On the other hand, if the company goes ruined or bankrupt, you can lose your entire preliminary savings.
I am not have any good explanation about bonds but hope here some people will help you to know about bonds..

For e.g., you can buy a US Treasury bond for nearly $100, and get a guaranteed 4.75% interest rate for 5-years, and you can expect to get your $100 return at the end of the 5-years limit. Your risk is repayment of the principal only.
