My Best advice is at the end of every month compare your expenses to your budget. Try to keep your spending with your budget and look to cut your expenses.

Personally, budgeting can be a form of habit. It does not mean that when you have finally coped up to your expenses, you will go back to your lavish lifestyle. Not necessarily. Discipline is habitual. Once you are comfy with your daily expenses, it would not feel like you are being thrifty at all.
