Yes. You can follow up a budget to prevent unnecessary wastage of money. First of all you should create a list of your monthly income and then a list of your monthly expenses. You should include the entire sources including housing, food, transportation charges if any, entertainment etc. And it would also be better if you write down the days expenses and save to your receipts.

YES of course. It is very good to maintain a budget. It is just the most practical way to do it. It helps you spend wisely, it gives you discipline over money. it helps you not to overspend, and also, in the long run, you get to know the lifestyle that you should live and love. Live within your means is what i always say.

Personally I believe that setting a budget on each expense is good. That way you would be able to know when you are already overspending and needs to make adjustments.
