A logical analysis might indicate that those with money have been used to some comforts. They are afraid of losing money or lack of it might hurt them. They are constantly on the run to protect money or increase it. Those with meagre money are kind of resigned to their lot. Their acknowledgment is a blessing in disguise because it gives them less worry.
That is just a very simple analogy, it is because they have been used the kind of lifestyle already and it is hard to lose it somehow. This is just normal. Nothing is wrong with it actually. It is jst a matter of explaining it to the person.
