Grace Period is also called as free period and it lets you avoid funding charges by paying your credit card balance in full before the due date. You should know whether you have a free period and it will be important if you plan to pay off your account in full every month. If your card does not include a free period, the issuer may impose a finance charge from the date you use your card for purchase or from the date your each transaction is posted to your account. The issuer has to mail a bill before a period of 15 days so that you have enough time to pay out.
